Care Packages for Soldiers, and the resources to get them sent overseas! Hello visitors, my name is Erica and I would like to welcome you to Operation Care Package. As a former military wife, I know the pain of separation from a loved deployed overseas. For some time now I have been writing to service members deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq. Through contacts and networking I receive mailing addresses to numerous Soldiers in both combat zones. I then initiate contact and ask if they would like a Care Package, or know of somebody that does. It is a very rewarding process.

Being deployed is hard enough for our Soldiers, having no contact from home makes it harder, especially in these trying times. That is where we come in.

I write to Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines daily, but would like to do more.  Since the beginning of the War on Terror, I have at my own expense put together Care Packages for the troops enroute to, and deployed all over the Middle East.

However, I would like to send more to our troops who have no support from home. So, I am seeking help in the form of donations from other charitable Americans. I am not asking for large monetary donations either. Unlike other sites, I do not feel this is another great idea at making a profit. Everything you send goes to the troops, 100% and then some. I do not withold anything.

All we ask for is the simple items to put together more Care Packages. Not every Soldier receives letters or parcels from home, and that takes its toll emotionally. Our goal here is to fill that gap, because these courageous young men, and women, deserve it!
